na minha história como arquiteto, no quintal da minha avó, nos detalhes e texturas, na beleza crua
— são nesses 'lugares' que eu me encontro
Comecei a fotografar como uma distração quando eu morei no interior de São Paulo. A parte técnica eu fui aprendendo enquanto eu experimentava. Quando voltei para Belo Horizonte, a fotografia me ajudou a reconectar com a cidade e me deu um novo jeito de viver a cidade. Nesse mesmo tempo eu entendi que a beleza da cidade, da arquitetura, não estavam sozinhas.
I started photographing as a distraction when I lived in the countryside of São Paulo. I learned the technical part as I experimented. When I moved back to Belo Horizonte, photography helped me reconnect with the city — it gave me a new way to experience it. And around that same time, I realized the beauty of the city, of the architecture, was never standing alone.
